Lucky seven: Weekly letter with five quotes from others and two things I'm considering.

Today, let's explore some quotes shared by James Clear.

  1. You probably don't want maximum effectiveness. For example, the most effective way to make money likely requires a lifestyle you don't want to live. Instead, you want the most effective path that fits your desired lifestyle. How do you want to spend your days? Start there, then optimize.
  2. Forget about peak performance. Would your results improve if you simply focused on being reliable in the ordinary moments? Show up when it's easy to skip. Do the fundamentals and do them well. And so on. Before you make it complicated, remember there are always simple improvements waiting to be made.
  3. Highly focused people do not leave their options open. They select their priorities and are comfortable ignoring the rest. If you commit to nothing, you'll be distracted by everything.
  4. You are the average of the five habits you repeat most.
  5. Before you throw more time at the problem, throw more focused action at the problem. You don't need more time; you need fewer distractions.

And two thoughts from my side. As always, one is funny, and the other is positive:

  1. Those who say their body is a temple don’t understand that it means many tourists come and take a picture of it.
  2. I know there is not much to say, but if nothing else, remember that you made it this far - and it's a bit further now. Let's finish this!

Have a great week ahead, and see you on the next occasion!
