Lucky seven: Weekly letter with five quotes from others and two things I'm considering.

Today, let's explore some quotes shared by Laurence Endersen.

  1. Being widely read is not the same as being well read.
  2. Absolutes are rare birds. We should choose assessments over assertions.
  3. It is who and how we are that matters more than what we have and know.
  4. We are seeing an increasing use of complex language as a cloak of intelligence, when in fact the opposite is more often the case.
  5. The rabbit runs faster than the fox, because the rabbit is running for his life while the fox is only running for his dinner.

And two thoughts from my side. As always, one is funny, and the other is positive:

  1. The moon-landing was done by extra-terrestrial beings.
  2. Subdue the regret. Dust yourself off, proceed. You'll get it in the next life, where you don't make mistakes. Do what you can with this one, while you're alive.

Have a great week ahead, and see you on the next occasion!
