You can go to hell without moving an inch; just focus on what you lack.
You can taste heaven without leaving earth; just rejoice in what you have. - James Clear
Hey there! It’s great to have you back for another insightful journey. It’s been three months since I invited you to delve into the depths of my thoughts. Today, let’s look at some data from the past three months.
With two newsletters come a few words
Over the past quarter, I’ve meticulously crafted 15 in-depth articles, each exceeding 1200 words. These articles have delved into various themes, including reflections on personal growth, tools for deep thinkers, and the concept of eudaimonia. Every Sunday morning, you have something interesting to read.
In addition, I’ve penned 13 unique bite-sized articles under the exclusive theme of Lucky Seven. This series lets you meet authors, discover intriguing quotes, and kickstart your week with fresh insights. By engaging with this series, I hope you gained a wealth of knowledge and inspiration that can fuel your growth journey.
I’ve had 478 unique visitors, with LinkedIn being the primary referral. The most accessed articles were a reflection on rules, the first part of the eudaimonia templates, and the quest for good restaurants.
Thinking forward
Now, with some data, I have decided to make a few changes. Here are a few:
A change of quests
I’ve revamped the subjects and descriptions of the current newsletters. You can find an updated description on your portal and the welcome page. You might discover a new one in there called Wisdom Weaves. Its focus is to explore some already known domains (philosophy, nature, culture, mindfulness, and history) but unearth some quirky observations (see what I did there?). Please update your preferences in the portal since I’m not interested in sending you more than you want emails. If you are subscribed to all three of them, you will receive five emails every two weeks, ensuring a steady flow of content without overwhelming your inbox.
Different treasures for adventurers
When I started writing these articles, I also set up a paid subscription. I expected to gauge interest in the subjects and the quirky way they transfer from the theoretical to practical realms. I divided all my articles into two parts, one for members and the other for paid subscribers.
I wasn’t expecting any adventurers, but I was humbled again by a great group of folks who believed in this journey with me. I was surprised to see some subscriptions being created after reading just one article. Your support and belief in my work mean the world to me.
However, I do not particularly enjoy or agree with gatekeeping knowledge, so I’ve looked into how to show my appreciation in other ways. I don’t have the final version yet, but here are a few things:
- Audio narration for all articles. You can feel this in some previous articles, like Circle of Competence. They should be easy to digest in the car or during a nice walk.
- Article review and updates six months after publication. I strongly believe in the need to maintain, not just create, any form of knowledge, so I will go back and make changes to the article. A new me with an old idea should at least make a better article. You will have access to all revisions of the articles while free members only to the latest one.
- Every month, I prepare a list of subjects to navigate in the upcoming month and cast a vote to decide on what to jump together. You can, adventurers, influence the order of subjects from my backlog.
- A few more are to come; some physical goodies might be involved.
So, I’ve stopped all active subscriptions, but if these new treasures catch your eye, feel free to subscribe again.
Looking forward
More articles and posts to come, more ideas, and more insights to join along. I am happy to share that I’ve also improved my writing capabilities, flow, and how I organize them. In the following review, I will detail what these changes mean and how they help me daily.
Live long and prosper! 🖖
