Eudaimonia Templates
Eudaimonia is a state of contentment achieved through happiness, health, and prosperity. I hope my writing can help you attain it, one quest at a time.

Hello there, adventurer!

I'm thrilled to introduce the first part of the Eudaimonia Templates series, a set of tools that significantly improved my life. This first pack includes two types of journals (daily and decision) and two habit templates (tracker and filters). I personally use these and can vouch for their effectiveness. They've helped me start and maintain positive habits, curb negative ones, make more informed decisions, and find joy in journaling. I hope they can do the same for you.

Easy to start, challenging to keep.

Like many of us, I've wrestled with the challenge of initiating activities for self-improvement. Despite recognizing the benefits of these changes, there are days when my motivation falters. Procrastination sneaks in, and my enthusiasm for forming new habits wanes. This pattern is not unique to me; it's a shared obstacle in our pursuit of goals and consistent actions.

I began researching different systems, methods, and teachings that might help me overcome my resistance to completing tasks. Despite finding many great resources, I struggled to apply them to my personal life. This confused me, as I didn't have the same issue professionally. I tackled even the least favorite tasks from my work backlog and had the discipline to finish them, even the ones that often took a lot of time.

But a quote gave me a new outlook on this.

You're not lazy; you tend to procrastinate because you're unsure how to kickstart a project.

This quote prompted me to ponder the differences between contexts where I can maintain a habit and those where I struggle. After some thought, I realized the key difference was the need for a system to tackle these. In business, there's usually a method of doing things (even if it's not documented) that the team knows and reinforces, a method with a proven track record of handling issues "correctly," and a method that's measured. So, I needed to find a similar system for my personal goals. I decided to start with existing resources and modify them. That's how these templates came into being.
